RAEX Rating Agency has released an update of the companies' ESG ranking for 2024 reporting year.

The new list includes 120 companies from Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Uzbekistan.

The top companies of ESG-ranking as of 01.12.2025 has not changed: the first place in the list still belongs to Norilsk Nickel, the second - to PhosAgro, closing the top three is Sberbank.

Mining and metallurgy companies, banks, integrated oil and gas companies, electric power and chemical industries mostly represent the industry structure of ranching. Uztransgaz, one of Uzbekistan's largest companies engaged in the transportation, storage, and sale of gas, gas condensate, and oil, was ranked for the first time. Uztransgaz's non-financial reporting disclosures were sufficient to earn it a spot in the 82nd spot in the ranking.

The assessment was carried out according to an updated methodology published in spring 2025. In order to form a ranking, RAEX analysts examined exclusively public data of companies taking into account the specifics of their activities. To be listed, companies must disclose a minimum of specific ESG data and not only declare their commitment to sustainable development.

The updated version of ESG-Ranking presents companies that have been evaluated as of November 30, 2025. The final ESG ranking of companies on the results of 2024 will be prepared before the end of 2025.
