1st of October 2026
The October version of the ranking includes 70 companies from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia, which were assessed as of September 30, 2026. The assessment was carried out using an updated methodology approved in spring 2026.
Last year’s leader, MMC Norilsk Nickel, topped the list; ALROSA took second place, and US RUSAL came third.
For the first time, Solidcore Resources (registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan) was included in the scope of the assessment. The high quality and completeness of its non-financial reporting enabled Solidcore Resource to enter the top 10 of the ranking straight away. Among Uzbek companies, the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Complex ranks highest (27th), while the Mongolian Mining Corporation ranks 56th.
The list continues to be dominated by companies from the mining and metallurgy (15), banking (6), integrated oil and gas companies (9), as well as the chemical (6) and power generation industries (7).
The RAEX ESG ranking is based on an analysis of companies’ publicly available information only, taking into account the specific nature of their industry. A critical criterion for inclusion in the list is transparency of information: companies are required to disclose the minimum necessary ESG data confirming the effective integration of sustainability principles into their business processes.
The next updates of the ranking are scheduled for early November and December 2026. The final version of the companies’ ESG ranking will be presented by the end of this year.
