The Competence and Green Expertise Center CoLTI publishes for the first time a register of green bonds of Russian issuers.
The Competence and Green Expertise Center CoLTI has prepared and published the Russian Green Bonds Register, which reflects current information on the placement of green bond issues by Russian issuers.
As of February 14, 2020, 5 issuers placed 7 issues of green bonds in the amount of 7.55 billion rubles and 500 million euros. Issuers attracted financing for the implementation of projects in the areas of housing and utilities and energy, transport and real estate sectors. 4 issuers placed bonds on the Moscow Exchange, one on the Irish Exchange.
All issuers received confirmation from external verifiers that the issues were in compliance with the ICMA principles of green bonds. RAEX-Europe issued confirmation for 3 issuers and 5 issues.
