Format of the event:

• Day 1 – International conference: panel discussions, networking (including AHK Treff) and an award ceremony (from 13:00 till 20:30)
• Day 2 – Business meetings day: B2B and B2G meetings for the conference partners and partners from CIS: visits to business associations of Germany, authorities and companies, excursions and entertainment program

Responsible investments (RI) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors have been key topics for the financial society of developed countries for the last five years, while most of emerging markets remain behind this trend. CIS countries have only recently joined this global financial initiative: the first green bonds were issued in 2018, as well as several companies and financial institutions from the CIS have recently gone through ESG/sustainable finance certification. The key aim of the conference is to present ESG and RI pioneers of the CIS market to the EU financial community, as well as to discuss the most recent trends in the area of EU responsible finance.

The second day of the “International Forum: Responsible Investments in the CIS Region” fully dedicated to the discussion of the Russian market – the largest and the most developed market of the CIS and Black Sea macro-region. RAEX-Europe will present its annual discussion of the credit rating of the Russian Federation, overview of the Russian banking system as well as of the current financial and economic stance of the Russian regions. The participants of the Second day will have a unique opportunity to meet high-level representatives of two industrial-agricultural Russian regions – Tambov and Lipetsk oblast, as well as to discuss opportunities of doing business in these regions, mutual trade and production localization.
